What is Jolly Sailor Kids & Teens?
These sessions are teaching the kids to move safely, effectively and appropriately through structured classes. The aim is to pair fitness with fun, which is essential in setting a child on a lifetime path of fitness.
The kids will learn how to squat, pull up, use kettlebells, climb ropes and use their body weight to exercise. As they get older we’ll introduce them to barbells and the rings.
All children develop differently, we make decisions on their ability at the age of 10 if they are ready to move up to the Teen class as this is when they are introduced to Barbell work and more technical movements.
The classes are currently run by Sue who competed her CrossFit kids course in 2015, so any questions regarding our kids classes please direct them to Sue.
JS Kids: ages 5-10 is on Wednesdays 1615-1650, drop in session is £4.50. If you decide to do a full term you get a termly discount of one free class.
JS Teens: ages 10-16 is on Mondays 1600-1700, drop in session is £5.50. If you decide to do a full term you get a termly discount of one free class.
If you have more than one sibling attend kids or teens you will get £10 discount on your termly fee for your second child.
